Phoenix, Oregon is a small town with a population of about 4500 that is located about 7 miles north of Ashland and 3 miles south of Medford.

The downtown went through a renovation in 2018 and the new Phoenix Plaza Civic Center was opened at that time. The town has a good mix of small businesses, restaurants, nice well kept neighborhoods with homes in the mid $200,000’s up to about $500,000. There are lovely rural areas in the Dark Hollow and Pioneer Road areas, out near Hilsinger and Camp Baker Roads and to the east out Fern Valley Road near David Lane and Payne Road with mid level to higher priced rural properties. Phoenix is conveniently located close to Medford and Jacksonville and just a few minutes to Ashland.

The entire surrounding areas of the Rogue Valley offer award winning wineries, world class fishing, multiple golf courses, access to the Pacific Crest Trail and skiing just 1/2 hour south at Mt. Ashland.

Phoenix High School is a good school and well supported by the community.
