East Medford

Medford is the 4th most populated town in Oregon and sits in the heart of the beautiful Rogue Valley surrounded by the Cascade and Siskiyou Mountain ranges. The overall population including surrounding areas is about 80,000.

East Medford has many attractive neighborhoods of both older vintage established areas of tree-lined streets, newer subdivisions in easy walkable communities and in hillside neighborhoods with expansive views across the valley.

Medford is home to excellent medical facilities including Asante’s Rogue Valley Medical Center and Providence Hospital with numerous urgent care centers. Rogue Community College RCC offers multiple campuses with a vast array of courses.

Excellent hiking areas, nearby world class fishing at the Rogue River and area lakes, popular golf courses including the Rogue Valley Country Club and Centennial Golf Course, the Craterian Theater with live performances and easy access out Highway 62 and Highway 140 to the pristine forests and mountain lake areas including famed Crater Lake that make Oregon such a wonderful place to live.

Our area is famous for our award-winning wineries. From the foothills of the Siskiyou Mountains the Applegate and Illinois rivers and Bear Creek create a rich fertile environment. The Rogue Valley Mall and large commercial area fronting Highway 62 offer shopping at many major retailers and boutique shops including Macy’s, Penny’s, Kohl’s, Lowes, Costco, Michaels, Walmart, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Old Navy and more. New commercial areas to the west are popular featuring Trader Joes, Dicks Sporting Goods and Marshalls and many new restaurants.
